This competition offers students and young dentists a platform to showcase their research on a global stage and cultivate their potential as future keynote speakers.

 

Since its first edition in 2008, the Lecture Contest has become a hallmark of IADS meetings, embodying a commitment to scientific excellence in dentistry.

Applicants will be notified of their acceptance status on: 7th February 2025

Important: To participate in the lecture contest, you must register for the 71st IADS Mid-Year Meeting and be present in Turkey during the event.

  • Each presenter will be given 8-10 min. for the oral presentation, 3-5 min for open discussion and questions from judges and attendees.

  • Presenters may use PowerPoint presentations.

  • Presenters will be contacted by the IADS Vice President of Science & Research and the Local Organizing Committee and be informed about the schedule.

  • All the presenters must be present in the designated area on the given time.

  • The winners will be announced on IADS Congress page, and website!

  • PS: It's an individual competition thus no groups are allowed.

  • Your abstract should be at least 120 words.

  • Abstract should be written either in paragraph form OR be structured such as: Introduction, Objectives, Materials & Methods, Results & Conclusion

  • Applicants may submit more than one abstract however they will be allowed to present only 1.

  • You must receive the approval of all co-authors before putting their names on abstract. 

  • Emails for confirmation of participation will be sent on: February 7th 2025
